Welcome! Here at Sierra del Tecuan we have for you and your family an eco-turistic development of log cabins located on the heart of the forest of Tapalpa, Jal.

Sierra del Tecuan is a small turistic compound which has five log cabins set on a 148 acres extension of natural forest; our goal is the conservation of natural resources, flora and fauna. We have a beautiful forest where you and your kids can share a special time with nature and wild life.
Within our compound there is a small orchard of fruit trees, where you can get fresh fruit (only within season), also your kids can play with small farm animals like lambs, chickens and horses within our compound.

We have for your entertainment dirt roads within the forest for you to go around on your mountain bike or in a horse ride; which you can rent out in the neighbor town Juanacatlan.
Besides the cabins, we have vast spaces where you and your family can camp and have a great time surrounded by nature. |

Within our compound we have a playground with several kinds of games, this way we make sure your stay with us is comfortable and fun.
If you'd like we can arrange "borrego", a special lamb dish be prepared for you by previously coordinating with our staff.

We have room for two to fourteen guests. We have for you five gorgeous log cabins built with wood and materials from this region.
